A fantastic complement to Tang Soo Do, American Kenpo offers a very tactical approach to self-defense offering students a great understanding into using fluid motions to evade, block, and counter a threat.
American Kenpo Karate is a versatile martial art that teaches the student in a comprehensive and scientific manner to defend himself or herself. The student learns to defend against many different types of attacks such as, kicks, punches, grabs, headlocks and bear hugs, to name a few. Advanced students learn to defend themselves against multiple attackers and attackers with weapons.
We offer certified rank for Beginners (White Belts) to Advanced (Black Belts and Beyond!). We have certified instructors and keep our classes at a manageable size so that each individual can grow in their art and succeed! We also offer private and private group classes.
